Easter Wreath

I have been wanting to get an egg Easter wreath for this year, but everywhere I see one, they are so small. I have a been door and a really small wreath will just be dwarfed by it. So I went to Joann's the day after Easter and found these eggs on clearance.

I also found this wreath there and it was the perfect size. So the other day I had a day off and while the kids were napping I decided I should tackle the wreath so I can put away my easter decorations away for the year.

Here is the final product. I couldn't be happier with and it and can't wait to hang it on my door next year. I had already packed it away before I thought of taking a picture of it on my door. oh well

Fair Time

Every year we go to the local fair and have a ton of fun. This year the weather was pretty crappy but we did get one pretty good day in. We had some friends come out so it was fun to take all the kids on the rides and I got to go to the rodeo this year with my mom. Lucky we didn't get rained out of the rodeo, it waited to the very end to start and then as we got home it started to down pour.

Ashlyn's favorite part of the fair was milking the make cow, she wanted to do it everyday that we went.

 

Kamden's favorite part was the ferris wheel. He had been watching and waiting all week for the fair to open so we could go on it. And he was quite mad that other children were allowed to go on it (he thought it should be just for him) he had fun on it, but he was a little unsure and sat REALLY still until it was over.

 

The kids got to go into the fire truck at the fair and that was pretty fun



We hardly ever get a good family picture anymore so I was happy that we got a couple

Ashlyn's cheer group also did a performance at the fair. It was freezing and so windy but they all did so good. I am so proud of Ashlyn. She remembered all of the moves, she was usually a half a count ahead of the rest, but hey, rather ahead than behind right???
